THE ULTIMATE QUESTION IN LIFE

Ever since the human brain developed enough to solve intricate problems, humans have wondered if there is high power. In civilizations, as far back as we can find, there has been religion. Worship springing from nature, animals, or a singular person. When religion really became interesting is when written language came about. No longer could a religion be wiped out because all its adherents were killed. A religion could live on through its texts, as we have seen in all major, ancient religions.

Now I won't attempt to convince you that there is no God, attempting to do that is an infinite catch- 22. For every shred of evidence I would present- there would be a contradiction.

So essentially, there is no proof against or for the existence of God.

However, there is a large amount of logic that you must take in before you accept the existence of a higher power.

You exist. Correct? If you refuse that you exist, then you must exist in order to express doubt over your existence... Making sense so far?

To exist, you must have been born, or at least came from something else that existed. You cannot simply appear out of thin air, right?

For everything to have been in existence today, there would have to have been a beginning of some sort.

It's only logical to comprehend that everything started at one point.

From what we have theorized, the universe began around 14 billion years ago. The universe comprises everything that is in existence. The exact location of the universe is unknown. The universe is so immensely large that it is infinite.

So someone switched on the light and began the universe or it appeared out of nothing. Both are acceptable answers in our world.

But how can something that holds everything come from nothing?

But, then again, how can an omnipresent being create everything? What created that being? Everything comes from something else! Nothing can simply exist forever.

So really, both answers don't make all that much sense. The Big Bang and God both don't make any kind of sense. So why take a side?

People believe in the Big Bang so they basically don't have to believe in God. They simply want an alternative answer to everything.

For the most part, people only want to believe in God so they won't be scared of death. They want to hold on to the belief that there's a higher power and an after-life. But it doesn't matter!

It doesn't matter if there's a higher power or an after-life. All that matters right now is where you are, who you're with, who you are, and how you did it.
